A month and half after Vegas, and I’m back at it.
10 things new about me:
1. I have my “A” races mostly planned for next year: Ironman Canada (Whistler), Ironman Boise (or St. George), and Phoenix Marathon. I’m setting the bar high next year. I want to pull off the trifecta: Boston qualify, Vegas qualify, and Kona qualify. It’s time to stop sitting around my Linsey shrine and get to work.
2. I joined ONE Multisport. ONE has rapidly grown to be one of the premiere triathlon clubs in Arizona. I’ve heard and witnessed so many great things about this club and wanted to be part of the action. The old man (Dan Cadriel) and I have become ONE with the force.
3. I’m now self-coached. The advice I received over the past two years has been invaluable. Though, I felt a break from a regimented training plan was needed. It’s been a great run in 2012 and breakthrough year for me… and for that, I’d like to thank Nick and Durapulse.
4. My fan base is incredible… and racist. These are some of the signs I’ve spotted at the past couple local races:
5. Nathans Olympic Triathlon was my first local race of the year. I was 2nd in my age group and 21st overall. Lots of fast dudes (and chicks) in AZ!
6. I ended the year with a bang– SOMA Half Ironman. 4:36 and 17th OA.
7. I got glasses. I look like Masuka from Dexter.

That’s not opinion, that’s science. And science is one cold-hearted bitch with a 14 inch strap on. – Masuka
8. A PR’d my transition times. Boom.
9. I’m training for the California International Marathon in December. My goal is to finally break 3 hours.
10. The third Sunday of every November has turned into an early Christmas for me. Time to dust off the cowboy hat cuz’ Linsey is coming to town!
Good luck to all the Ironman AZ athletes!
Thanks for checking in! 🙂
